A Community for Accountants to Learn and Grow Together

Besides the general community, TCR has a marketing and web expert, Enya Spicer, available to give feedback on website stuff. She is a great resource! Here are some of the other benefits I have taken advantage of: (1) Tax advice about a specific client situation (2) Advice about how to deal with clients in specific situations (3) Solid examples of other firms’ marketing plans (4) Multiple examples of other firms’ packages (5) Templates that I can use as reference and modify to use myself (6) Group discussions about soft skills (7) Accountability partners (8) Small group discussions where I could bring any problem or question and I can learn from the problems other folks bring up (9) Sessions pretty much every week and video recordings to watch later (10) A community, so I do not feel alone in running my business Now that I have all this, I can’t imagine going back to running my firm on my own without this kind of support.

Who we are

The Collaboration Room (TCR), is a community for accounting, bookkeeping, and tax professionals to learn and grow through mentoring and coaching. 

 

We will help you start, grow, and improve your firm, in a collaborative setting!

Founders, Rebecca Driscoll, CPA and Mike Sylvester, CPA bring very different skills and perspectives to TCR and both have a passion for helping other professionals!

Empower Your Practice with Every Connection

    • Free regular live events with Coaches within the community to discuss various topics; this is The Collaboration Room after all. Most of these live events will be recorded in case you can’t make it!

    • A wide variety of message boards with meaningful interaction between members.

    • Occasional live events with experts from outside of our community who discuss specific topics of interest to members such as SALT taxes, how to scale a firm, what is going on in the M&A space, software, and AI among others.

    • A referral section for members to refer work to other members and for people looking to hire or looking to be hired.  One member recently received a referral for a client that is a $25,000 per year client in their target niche.

    • A peer-to-peer community where you can find experts who can assist you with specific problems.

    • You gain access to a community of peers and coaches who will help you grow and improve your firm!
